Comparative evaluation of two different cold Sterilization techniques on carbide burs and diamond points

Background: Infection control is a major issue in medicine and dentistry because of concern over communicable diseases transmitted health care settings. The present study was conducted for comparatively evaluating various Cold Sterilization Techniques on Carbide Burs Diamond Points. Materials & methods: Two disinfectant solutions were used: 2% glutaraldehyde 5.2% sodium hypochlorite. group formed Group A while diamond burs the B. Collection total 40 tooth samples done .i.e. 20 each ; further both groups consisted two subgroups as per type solution. bacterial count evaluated before after disinfection. All results recorded analysed by SPSS software. Results: Sodium hypochlorite sterilization technique slightly better comparison to Glutaraldehyde technique. Also carbide associated with less microbial growth. Conclusion: clinical usage.
